The governors and staff consider it important that all pupils wear the correct uniform and present themselves smartly. We have adopted a uniform that is easy to wear and is not expensive.
- Plain black skirt or trousers
- Plain white shirt
- School tie (NB Year 11 have a different design)**
- Black blazer with school logo (optional)
- Plain black sweatshirt / jumper with school logo**
- Plain dark socks or neutral / black tights
- Sensible black shoes (trainers must not be worn other than in sports lessons)
The ONLY jewellery allowed is the following:
- Sleeper type earrings (maximum of one in each ear)
- One signet ring
We do not allow nose studs to be worn in school.
We do not allow makeup to be worn in school and that includes nail varnish.
Hair bands in white, black, blue or yellow may be worn.
Outer coats need to be sensible to suit the weather conditions.
They must not be worn in school. It would help if pupils provide themselves with suitable protective clothing such as an apron, old shirt or a laboratory coat, for Science lessons.

- Navy/Sky reversible rugby/games shirt**
- A navy tracksuit may be worn in cold weather.
- Pupils may wish to have their own hockey stick and tennis racket.
** All items asterisked are compulsory and can only be purchased through the school.
Both boys and girls will need the polo shirt for all PE lessons from the start of the Autumn term although they may not need the reversible games shirt until the weather becomes cooler.
All items of clothing and equipment must be named
