Art, Photography and Textiles London Trip View...
On Friday the 4th of November 38 Year 11-13 students had the opportunity to visit the Tate Britain and the Tate Modern in London. They also got to see the sights from the Thames as they took the Tate boat in between the two galleries.

Year 10 pupils were rewarded View...
Hartismere pupils spent the day working at the new ‘First Site Gallery’ in Colchester. They worked in a studio and the gallery grounds with the artist Jevan Watkins-Jones to produce a ‘Perennial Artwork’. This exceptional opportunity was a prize in recognition of their success in the Countywide CRED schools climate change competition.

CO2art competition at UCS Ipswich View...
The following Y9 pupils took part in the CO2art competition at Suffolk University Arts Centre - Emily, Maisie, Elizabeth, Freya, Alexandra, Katie, Alice and Faye. The overall winners were Emily and Maisie for their 'Life in Balance' sculpture. All of the girls work is going to be on display at the Waterside Art centre until the 12th July in Ipswich.

Y11 Art Trip to Saatchi Exhibition Ipswich View...
Y11 pupils visited the Saatchi exhibition at Ipswich. Pupils took part in a workshop to evaluate and discuss the work on display. We went on to Christchurch Mansion to look around the gallery and grounds. Well done to all those who attended, you did some great work.

Wingfield Arts Award Visit by GCSE Art & Photo' Pupils. View...
GCSE students visited the Wingfield Barns Gallery to look at the exhibition of AS & A2 work on display. The exhibition celebrates the fantastic work produced by schools across the county.

Year 6 Gifted and Talented Art students visit Hartismere View...
The best art students from Hartismere feeder schools spent the day working with artist in residence, Marnie Hardy. They created a range of surreal art works using techniques including sketching with charcoal, photography, collage, sculpture and painting with brushes taped onto long canes.
