A Level Information and Communication Technology

The ICT AS/A2 course we follow was introduced by OCR in September 2008.

The aim of the course is to develop skills and understanding of ICT so they can be used to solve a range of problems and to also make students aware of the consequences of using ICT on individuals, organisations and society. Students will also need to consider the legal and ethical issues of using ICT and the impact of emerging technologies.

In total there are 4 units: 2 in AS and 2 in A2

For more information about the AS or A2 phase please view the year 12 or year 13 pages under A Level ICT.
