Module 2 (F332) As Chem

Module 2 - "The Chemistry of Natural Resources" (F332), covers teaching units:

>Elements from the Sea (ES)

>The Atmosphere (A)

>Polymer Revolution (PR)

The F332 external exam for AS Chemists will take place on:

Wed 23rd May 2012 (pm) and lasts for 1hr 45mins.

I've posted the advance notice for this years F332 exam paper below - feel free to download and check it out.  You are allowed to keep it and look through it prior to the exam, and a 2nd copy will be issued to you IN the exam.  Part of the skill of "using" this advanced notice period is anticipating exam questions that you might be asked on this material.  We'll do some work on this after in the weeks leading up to the exam.

The Advance Notice material is all about Polythene (a simple polymer).

It covers the "accidental" discovery, improving the chemical synthesis so that

it could be done on an industrial basis and LDPE & HDPE.

REVISION sessions for F332 (module 2) take place on Monday's after school  3.50 - 4.55pm in Lab S4
