Blanche McIntyre directs Shakespeare's tale of jealousy and reconciliation

One of Shakespeare's most enigmatic plays, 'The Winter's Tale', is a story that's tinged with magic. A jealous king destroys his family, until the passing of time and the power of the gods helps reunited this royal clan. In 2016, Shakespeare's Globe mounted an intimate revival in its indoor Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. This time, it'll unfold on the main stage: perfect for the play's thorny forests and rampaging bears.

Blanche McIntyre directs, after helming persuasive productions of 'Comedy of Errors' and 'As You Like It'. (Time out magazine)
