                  A talk & discussion open to all AS & A2 Chemists and Biologists in the 6th Form Reading Room at Hartismere.   Dr Lesley Howell from the UEA school of Pharmacy will discuss a degree that might appeal to 6th formers studying Chemistry and/or Biology, what it entails and the different career paths that open up from Pharmacy.

 

>Wed 13th March 13 (4 - 9pm) : "The World of Doping"

           At the HFL Sports Science labs at Newmarket.  A tour of the state of the art lab facilities with young research scientists followed by a workshop on the World of Doping : testing, security, implications and more .....

The lab is renowned for its work testing samples from horses and athletes from around the world, for use of banned substances.  15 places available.
