F333 - AS Chemistry coursework

[known as "Chemistry in Practice"]

 

This is worth up to 20% of the AS Chem qualification

and upto 10% of the overall A level marks.

There are 5 skill areas assessed (see below).

Over the course of the AS year, students have a max of 3 opportunities at each of

skills 2 - 5.  The first two opportunities are delivered within lessons.  If students would

like a 3rd attempt at any skill, this is completed outside lesson time (due to time constraints).

 

A total mark (out of 60) is recorded for each student shortly before the May deadline.

 

The grade boundaries for the June 2012 F333 entry (past) are below to give you an idea

of where your mark puts you (Warning: grade boundaries often change from year to year !)
