The year 9 football team narrowly lose 3-2 to a Thomas Mills High School last minute goal.

The game was extremely close throughout. Hartismere dominated the first half and were awarded a penalty when Charlie Doe was fouled in the box. Unfortunately the penalty failed to be converted and the half time score remained 0-0. The second half saw more goals. TMHS took the lead straight after half time, before George Costello made it 1-1 when latching  on to a Max Lister through ball, beating two defenders and putting it past the oncoming goalkeeper. An inspired Mr Poacher substitution took place and Fyn Browne scored immediately after coming on to convert a Charlie Doe corner. Despite some excellent defending inspired by Louis Broadbent, TMHS scored twice in quick succession in the last minutes of the game to take the points. Well done to all players involved! The player of the match awards went to Charlie Doe & Louis Broadbent.
