Well done to the Year 11 rugby team for their convincing 36-0 win against Bungay. After a slow start the boys started to play a more expansive style of rugby, looking to link up and support each other. George Jones played a pivotal role, using his dummy to good effect and scoring tries with powerful and evasive running. Miles Smith was solid in defence and Dan Blackburn got on the scoreboard after some quick thinking and a tap penalty to crash over in the corner. Josh Moore continued to demonstrate his natural ability after only a few appearances for the team, sidestepping through the opposition and scoring a brace of tries.
We still need one or two players to bolster our numbers so if you are in year 11 and wanting to get involved or get back in to the sport please see Mr Nicholson.
