Extra Funding Needed to Produce more Visors

THANK YOU SO SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO HAS DONATED.  WE HAVE ALREADY EXCEEDED THE HIGHER TARGET - SO PLEASE DON'T DONATE ANY MORE.  ANY EXCESS WILL, OF COURSE, BE SENT TO AN AGREED CHARITY (NHS OR COVID RELATED)

THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN.

LAURA SCALES

Hartismere School’s DT department have been busy making visors to distribute to local organisations but have now run out of materials.  We are hoping to raise between £300 and £500 in order to purchase additional materials to produce the next batch and these can then be distributed to those in need.  If you would be willing to donate anything at all to help us reach this target then please use the following link:

This will take you to the school’s parentpay site where money can be donated without having to pay any handling fees.  Please mark any donations as ’donation for PPE’ so that this can be easily identified.  It would be really great to have lots of small donations (each 50p and £1 can be put to good use here).

We will update this page regularly with the amount raised - and make it clear when the target has been reached - so please don't donate after this point.

                                    Currently:  £1 / £300 (lower target) or £1 / £500 (higher target)

Any organisation that would like to be on the list for receipt of completed visors please email: lsc@hartismere.com with details of your organisation, a contact name and number and the number of visors that you would like to receive.

Please note:  The visors are not intended to be used in place of a surgical visor, but where the alternative would be no visor at all. They are not officially approved by any standards organisation, but they do the job of protecting the face and are comfortable to wear. We are supplying them to any front-line workers free of charge.
