YEAR 7 & 8 THEATRE TRIPS 2027 There are two theatre trips available for Year 7 and 8 students this year. Please see the details below. To give as many pupils as possible the opportunity to attend a theatre trip this year, pupils should initially choose ONE trip only. Once the booking deadline has passed, if spaces are still available, pupils will have the opportunity to book a place on the second trip as well. Please ensure pupils understand that they should only sign up for one trip initially, so that everyone has a fair chance to join us.

Letters will be available at lunchtime in the Lines Hall from Wednesday 14th October. Afterwards they will be available from the letter rack outside the Lines hall.

HARRY POTTER & THE CURSED CHILD- PALACE THEATRE, LONDON. FOR YEARS 7 to 8 WEDNESDAY 13^TH JANUARY 2027

I have booked seats to see the matinee of the stage show “Harry Potter & The Cursed Child” in London on Wednesday 13^th January 2027 at 1:00pm. The cost of the ticket and coach fare is £51.00 inclusive.

This is a very popular show, and we anticipate that tickets will be in high demand. Therefore, If the trip is oversubscribed, names will be randomly selected on the closing date.  Pupils will be informed by letter including travel details if they have been given a place on the trip.

If your child would like to apply for a place, our preferred method of payment is by ParentPay and no other paperwork will need to be completed. Alternatively, you can pay by cheque or cash (payable to Hartismere School) please enclose this with the reply slip and the consent form in an envelope marked “Harry Potter & The Cursed Child”, which pupils should hand in via the post boxes at pupil services or in the maths corridor. (A place will not be reserved until payment has been received).  If your child changes their mind and no longer wishes to go on the trip we require at least 7 days’ prior notice. If we are able to fill the place, we will refund the cost.  If we are not able to fill the place or notice is less than 7 days no refund will be given.  If your child is ill and unable to go on the trip, we are unable to provide a refund. The closing date is Friday 13^th November 2026.
