Week beginning 22 Jan 2024: 'Life Lessons'
In Tutor sessions this week pupils will be focussing on the following topics:
Holocaust Memorial Day 2024
Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) takes place on 27 January each year and is a time to remember the millions of people murdered during the Holocaust, under Nazi Persecution and in the genocides which followed in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur. This year the theme for HMD is 'The Fragility of Freedom'.
Light a candle and safely put it in your window at 8pm on 27 January to remember those who were murdered for who they were and to stand against prejudice today.
