An important part of a pupil's studies is work that is completed at home. Homework will not always be a written task but may be reading, learning, or making things. It is time- tabled and pupils should stick a copy of it in the planner that the school will provide.

The amount of homework increases as you progress through the years:

  • for Years 7 and 8, an average of one hour per day
  • for Year 9, an average of one and a half hours per day
  • for Years 10 and 11, up to three hours per day.
