Awareness Days/Weeks
Many pupils and staff will be involved with the following events:

British Science 'Week' - 10 to 19 March
British Science Week is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths. This year's theme - connections!

Young Carers Action Day - 15 March
Young Carers Action Day raises awareness about young and young adult carers, the challenges they face and the support they need. The Carers Trust report that young carers say that an adult taking just a small amount of time to talk to them - even ten minutes - can make a big difference. That’s because listening to a young carer and asking the right questions could help them get the vital support they desperately need. This can make all the difference to their health and wellbeing. This year the theme is #make time for young carers.

World Sleep Day - 17 March
The World Sleep Society is issuing a global call to action to organize sleep health awareness activities on and around Friday, March 17, 2023 – the upcoming World Sleep Day. The theme for this World Sleep Day is 'Sleep is Essential for Health'. Just like eating well and exercising, sleep is a behavior that is foundational to one’s physical, mental, and social well-being. Members of World Sleep Society, sleep experts, and community health advocates in over 70 countries will be organizing local, regional, and national activities to promote sleep health.

Red Nose Day (Comic Relief) - 17 March
