Invigilators

We are often seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals to join our friendly team of Exam Invigilators on a casual/flexible basis.

As an invigilator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and security of our examination process while supporting students in a calm, fair, and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

Exam Setup: Assist with preparing examination rooms, arranging papers, and setting up designated seating layouts.

Supervision: Monitor candidates during exams to ensure strict adherence to all regulations and prevent academic dishonesty.

Student Support: Hand out exam materials, answer general candidate queries, and manage minor disruptions or emergencies (e.g., student illness).

Administration: Collect, count, and securely collate completed exam scripts at the end of each session.

What We Are Looking For

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

High attention to detail and ability to follow strict rules and procedures.

Punctuality, reliability, and a calm demeanour under pressure.

Basic IT skills (in order to use our exams administration app.)

No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.

Hours

Flexible and seasonal. Although the main exam series is May and June, we hold examinations and mock examinations throughout the year. We ask invigilators to identify when they're available in order to draw up a rota for each season.

For more information, please contact the Examinations Officer at the school.
