Change of Head of Year 9
Dear parents and carers
CHANGE OF HEAD OF YEAR 9
At the end of this week, Mrs Findlay will be leaving Hartismere and Miss Chappell will be taking over as Head of Year for the current Year 9 group as they move into Key Stage 4.
This is a lovely year group and we are all proud of the progress they have made throughout Key Stage 3. Their positive attitude, resilience and support of one another have been a real credit to them.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs Findlay for her support and commitment to the year group, and to thank you all for your communication and support throughout the year. I would encourage you to continue with this as Miss Chappell becomes the new Head of Year.
Miss Chappell is an experienced Head of Year, and many of the students will already know her through their History lessons. She is looking forward to working with the year group as they begin Key Stage 4. She will introduce herself to students in assembly on Thursday 7 May, which will be their new assembly day.
Yours faithfully
Mrs D Buttle
