HartisMail and Hartismere Accounts
Dear parents and carers
I’m writing to inform you of the different ways Hartismere contacts parents and carers, and how you can use the website and social networks to keep informed and up-to-date.
Our preferred way of routinely contacting you is via email. We call it “HartisMail”. We use this to inform you about trips, your child’s progress, important announcements, activity days, changes to key dates etc.
We have created for you a “Hartismere Account” that gives you access to restricted areas of our school website, and our other websites including: My Timetable, My Homework, My Exams and My Hart Points.
Please visit sso.hartismere.com/welcome to activate your Hartismere Account. Once activated, you can configure your account settings, including the option to add your mobile phone which we will use to alert you of any school closures. If you have other children at the school you can add them here - this helps ensure you receive the correct emails. You’ll also see the option to receive automatic reports from Google Classroom (but please be aware that not all staff enable this feature.)
Our website is regularly updated and contains copies of most of the emails we send home.
A good place to start is hartismere.com/parents.
You’ll also find information about term dates, trips, activities, homework, and our policies. The school has a Facebook page and an X (Twitter) page - search for “Hartismere”. Some departments run their own Instagram accounts, but these are available by invitation only.
If you have any questions about HartisMail or your Hartismere Account, please don’t hesitate to get in touch,
Ernest Waller

However this legacy version contains (very, very nearly) all the same content. Each page is rendered on our server and doesn't rely on any browser features except the odd font. It doesn't even need Javascript or fancy CSS. It's like being in 1995!
