Transport of the Future: Design Challenge at Hartismere Secondary School

At Hartismere Secondary School, we believe in igniting young minds and preparing them for the exciting journey ahead. That's why we're thrilled to offer primary schools in our catchment area the opportunity to step into the world of secondary education through our innovative experience programme.

What We Offer:

Experience Lessons: Primary school students get a firsthand taste of high school life by participating in tailored lessons across various subjects. From science to art, we aim to spark curiosity and inspire a love for learning.

Design and Technology Challenge: One of the highlights of our program is the exhilarating Design Challenge. In collaboration with our design and technology department, pupils are tasked with envisioning the transport of the future. Through hands-on exploration, they learn to think critically, design creatively, and bring their ideas to life by crafting models that represent their vision for tomorrow's world.

Why It Matters:

By providing these immersive experiences, we aim to bridge the gap between primary and secondary education, easing the transition for young learners and empowering them to embrace the exciting challenges that lie ahead. Our goal is to foster a sense of curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every student who walks through our doors.
